HOT WATER TEMPERATURE MAINTENANCE

MAINTAINING OF HOT WATER SYSTEMS

Heating Cables are designed to compensate for heat losses from hot water distribution systems, as well as offering the option to disinfect periodically against Legionella.

The Heating Tape compensates for heat loss from hot water pipe work particularly when modern non-recirculating systems employing a single feed pipe are used. Feed pipe to hot tap cools rapidly under no-flow conditions and this can be overcome by tracing the pipe with heating tape under thermal insulation. (Trace Heating of Hot Water Systems)

This will ensure that the hot water temperature remains at a constant temperature usually between 55oC and 65oC.

Heating Cables are parallel circuit, cut-to-length.

H2OWATT can be used with the DOMOCLICK fast connection system for terminating and jointing on site.
