Simple frost protection and temperature maintenance thermostat unit capable of controlling heating circuits between 0°C to 90°C. Fitted with a volt free relay to allow Building Management System monitoring for loss of power to the thermostat.

This industrial junction box/thermostat is designed for the termination and temperature control of electric trace heating systems and other industrial applications. They can be used for frost protection and process temperature maintaining of pipe work and storage tanks.

Units may be used as an air sensing or pipe sensing thermostat. The unit is supplied in the air sensing mode with the capillary bulb fixed to the enclosure. Removal of the bulb from the housing tube will convert the unit to pipe sensing.            

The temperature can be set by removing the front cover and rotating the control dial to the required set point. 

Weather proof enclosure rated IP65, the tough construction of the unit allows for installation in domestic, commercial and industrial (non explosive atmospheres).
